Green Bay Packers (9-4-1) 28, Los Angeles Rams (11-1-2) 7
(MILWAUKEE) - Jubuliant Green Bay Coach Vince Lombardi said it all after his Packers had whipped Los Angeles 28-7 and captured the Western Conference title in the National Football League. "We were magnificent today," the usually dour Lombardi enthused. "We rose to the occasion. A lot of people said the Packers were dead. But we still have a great nucleus." The aging but peerless Packers gave quarterback Bart Starr almost perfect protection and unleashed a remorseless rush on the Rams' Roman Gabriel to gain a berth in the NFL title game. "Never mind the 'Fearsome Foursome.' We've got our 'Fearsome Onesome,' " shouted Ron Kostelnik in a salute to teammate Henry Jordan, who tormented Gabriel throughout the long, cold afternoon. Jordan dropped Gabriel four times. He shared individual glory with Starr, Ray Nitschke and the phenomenal rookie Travis Williams. Starr and Williams accounted for three of the four Packer touchdowns. Starr passed 17 yards to
September 17: Green Bay Packers (0-0-1) 17, Detroit Lions (0-0-1) 17 (Tie)
(GREEN BAY) - The resurgent Detroit Lions intercepted four Bart Starr passes to build a 17-point first half lead, then fought off a furious Green Bay second-half rally to escape with a 17-17 tie. Starr, the NFL's most valuable player last season, when he had only only three passes intercepted while leading the Packers to the world's professional title, helped bring his reeling team back in the second half. The veteran quarterback's 84-yard completion to Elijah Pitts with less than four minutes to play set the stage for a 18-yard field goal by Don Chandler that gave Green Bay the tie with only 1:43 left. But the repeated Green Bay mistakes in the first half proved too much for the Packers to overcome. Starr, who still finished with 14 pass completions in 23 attempts for 321 yards, at last got the Packers moving in the second half after Donny Anderson gave them a nudge with a 43-yard punt return.

(GREEN BAY) - Don Chandler saved Green Bay from defeat for the second straight week. Chandler, who booted an 18-yarder with 1:43 left to give Green Bay a 17-17 tie with Detroit in their season opener, kicked a 46-yarder with just 63 seconds remaining, giving the mistake-prone Packers a 13-10 victory over the underdog Chicago Bears. Although Green Bay never could get rolling, as Chicago intercepted five Bart Starr passes and recovered three fumbles, the Packers led 10-0 at halftime on the strength of Jim Grabowski two-yard touchdown run and Chandler's 20-yard field goal. Chicago got a 22-yard three-pointer from Mac Percival in the third quarter and tied it on Gale Sayers' 13-yard TD dash just minutes before Chandler's winning kick.

October 1: Green Bay Packers (2-0-1) 23, Atlanta Falcons (0-3) 0
(MILWAUKEE) - Zeke Bratkowski came on in relief of the injured Bart Starr and fired two scoring passes to Carroll Dale to spark the Packers to a 23-0 win over the winless Atlanta Falcons. The ace backup man connected on passes of five and 50 yards after Starr, who appeared off form for the third consecutive Sunday, was racked on a blitz by the Falcons' Bob Riggle. Starr, who had thrown nine interceptions in the Packers' first two games, suffered what was described as a bruised muscle in his shoulder. The Falcons, their attack stifled by a fierce Green Bay passing rush, netted only four yards in total offense through the first three quarters before the Packers' defense began relenting. Interceptions led to two Green Bay touchdowns. Dave Robinson set up the first by picking off a Randy Johnson pass at the Atlanta 27. Four plays later, Bratkowski found Dale in the end zone from the five.

October 8: Green Bay Packers (3-0-1) 27, Detroit Lions (1-2-1) 17
(DETROIT) - The unbeaten Packers battled from behind with a 17-point fourth quarter surge to dump the Detroit Lions 27-17. The Packers, who knotted the score at 10-10 in the third quarter on the second of three field goals by Don Chandler, took command of the rugged defensive game by exploding for 10 points in the first two minutes of the fourth quarter. Green Bay's John Rowser recovered a Packer punt which bounced off Detroit's Tommy Watkins at the Lions' 28 near the end of the third quarter. Six plays later, Chandler booted a 16-yard field goal. Detroit's Milt Plum faded back to pass two plays later and the ball was tipped in the air by Dave Robinson. Ray Nitschke grabbed the loose ball and ran 20 yards for the touchdown. Green Bay's final touchdown, a 13-yard pass from Zeke Bratkowski to Boyd Dowler, was set up after a 44-yard run on a pass interception by Tom Brown. The Lions, held to a net 27 total yards by the tenacious Green Bay defense in the first half, took a 10-0 first quarter lead on a pair of pass interceptions. Darris McCord intercepted a Green Bay pass at midfield early in the game. Detroit moved deep into Green Bay territory before Wayne Walker booted a 38-yard field goal. Early in the second quarter, McCord blocked a Bratkowski pass at the Packer 10. Lions DE Larry Hand intercepted at the four and scored.

October 15: Minnesota Vikings (1-4) 10, Green Bay Packers (3-1-1) 7
(MILWAUKEE) - The Green Bay Packers remarkable 17-game unbeaten streak faded into a blazing sunset. And with it vanished, at least temporarily, the notion that the Packers are about to walk away with an unprecedented hird consecutive National Football League title. It took two Canadian imports, Bud Grant and Joe Kapp, however, to finally pierce the Green Bay cloak of invincibility. Grant, the new head coach of the Minnesota Vikings and Kapp, the newly installed starting quarterback, engineered an astounding 10-7 upset of the Packers. Kapp, who starred in the Canadian League before taking a crack at the NFL, completed only two passes but set up both Viking scores in the fourth quarter in only his second NFL start. The Packers, who never mounted a sustained drive all day, took a 7-0 lead into the final quarter on Zeke Bratkowski's 86-yard touchdown pass to Carroll Dale in the first half. Bratkowski played the entire game in place of the injured Bart Starr for the second week in a row. Ed Sharockman, however, intercepted a Bratkowski pass early in the fourth period and returned it 37 yards to the Green Bay 37. Kapp piloted the Vikings into the end zone in 10 plays, with Bill Brown punching over from the one with the tying TD. Another interception, this one by Earsell Mackbee, set up the winning field goal by Fred Cox.

October 22: Green Bay Packers (4-1-1) 48, New York Giants (3-3) 21
(NEW YORK) - Elijah Pitts scored three touchdowns and set up a fourth with an option pass as the Green Bay Packers rallied in the second half for a 48-21 victory over the New York Giants. The usual sellout crowd of 62,585 roared in anticipation of an upset when Fran Tarkenton threw touchdown passes to Homer Jones and Joe Morrison, giving the Giants a 14-10 edge at halftime. Green Bay surged back in the third period in which Dave Robinson intercepted two of Tarkenton's passes and went out on top to stay on Pitts' six-yard touchdown run and a 35-yard field goal by Don Chandler, his second of the day. Pitts, who smashed home from the three for the first score on this warm, sunny afternoon, shot across from the one in the fourth period. Pitts also set up a two-yard scoring plunge by Jim Grabowski with a 21-yard option pass to Boyd Dowler after Bill Triplett fumbled on a kickoff return. Tarkenton hit Jones for a final Giant score midway in the fourth period, but the Packers came right back with two more touchdowns on a 38-yard pass from Bart Starr and a seven-yard run by Donny Anderson.

October 30: Green Bay Packers (5-1-1) 31, St. Louis Cardinals (4-3) 23
(ST. LOUIS) - In their first Monday night game since 1964, the Packers were led by Travis Williams, who returned his third kickoff of the night for a touchdown. Green Bay won the football game, but St. Louis quarterback Jim Hart made believers of the Packers. The world champion Packers used two fourth-quarter touchdowns to overcome a brilliant performance by the 23-year-old Hart and whipped the Cardinals 31-23. "We're glad to get out of that one alive," sighed Green Bay halfback Elijah Pitts after the game. Although it rained much of the day in St. Louis, the downpour slowed to a mist during most of the game. Green Bay turned an intercepted pass and a 93-yard kickoff return into touchdowns to offset Hart's performance. The young quarterback passed for two touchdowns and completed 16 of 29 passes for 317 yards. Bart Starr connected on 11 of 26 for 117 yards and one touchdown.

November 5: Baltimore Colts (6-0-2) 13, Green Bay Packers (5-2-1) 10
(BALTIMORE) - Green Bay turned back the clock on Johnny Unitas, but Unitas turned the tables on the Packers. Unitas, who fumbled away Baltimore's last hope for the 1966 National Football League title when the Packers caught him on the run. won a frantic fourth-down foot race in this rematch and then pitched the unbeaten Colts to a 13-10 comeback triumph over the defending NFL champs. With less than two minutes to play and the Colts behind 10-6, Unitas, forced out of his pocket by the Packer rush, scrambled through a patch of daylight and picked up six vital yards for a first down on the Green Bay 23-yard line. On the next play, the magnificent quarterback fired a touchdown strike to Willie Richardson, ending the Colts' five-game losing streak against Green Bay and keeping them perfect. Unitas' second TD pass in the final two minutes, after rookie Rich Volk recovered Lou Michael's onside kick, avenged a 14-10 loss to the Packers at Baltimore last December, a loss that eliminated the Colts from the Western Conference race. The Packers stymied Unitas through three quarters and built a 10-0 lead on Don Chandler's 49-yard field goal and Bart Starr's 31-yard pass to Donny
Anderson. Unitas got the Colts back in the game on a 10-yard payoff pass to Alex Hawkins with 2:19 to go in the final period. Michaels flubbed the extra point conversion, then sliced a short kickoff. Volk fell on the ball at the Green Bay 34 and the Colts put over the winning touchdown with 1:28 on the clock.

November 12: Green Bay Packers (6-2-1) 55, Cleveland Browns (5-4) 7
(Milwaukee) - Non-stop Travis Williams has rushed to the rescue of the ailing Green Bay Packers and now the Cleveland Browns are suffering from a severe case of wounded pride. Williams, the Packers' first class traveling man, made the Browns somewhat sorry they ever got off their bus as he returned kickoffs 87 and 85 yards for first period touchdowns. The Packers added three more touchdowns in the same period and went on to hand the Browns the worst defeat in their history, 55-7. "I couldn't believe it was happening," said the 21-year-old rookie from Arizona State after triggering a record National Football League first period scoring spree - 35 points. Neither could the Browns, who played as if thunderstruck after Williams' first ramble on the opening kickoff. "I don't know what happened," said Browns Coach Blanton Collier. 'I saw him run against St. Louis two weeks ago. I knew what he could do. We all knew what he could do." Williams was not the only factor in Cleveland's undoing . Donny Anderson, the bonus baby making his first NFL regular season start, scored four touchdowns, and veteran Ben Wilson, obtained from Los Angeles before the season, gained 100 yards rushing. Anderson and Wilson were filing in for Elijah Pitts and Jim Grabowski, both out with leg injuries suffered in a 13-10 loss to Baltimore last week. Bart Starr also played his best game of the season, completing 14 of 21 passes for 266 yards and two touchdowns to Marv Fleming and Anderson.

November 19: Green Bay Packers (7-2-1) 13, San Francisco 49ers (5-5) 0
(GREEN BAY) - San Francisco quarterback John Brodie couldn't be faulted for liking the NFL's new divisional setup. This way, he only has to face the Green Bay Packers' defense once a year. The million-dollar gambler of the 49ers had his troubles again Sunday and came away stunned with a 13-0 defeat, San Francisco's first shutout in seven years and a loss that eliminated the 49ers from the running for a Coastal Division title in the revamped NFL. Green Bay's victory, which came despite a pair of injuries to quarterback Bart Starr and all-pro linebacker Lee Roy Caffey, left the Packers two and a half games ahead of the Bears in the Central Division and set things up for a possible title clinching next week at Chicago. It was the eighth shutout the Packers have administered since Vince Lombardi came to Green Bay in 1959. Brodie managed only 11 yards on his passes in the first half and unleashed a fourth period assault that saw him finish with 20 completions in 48 attempts, but net just 150 yards. The Packers moved the ball well against the 49er defense with Donny Anderson and Ben Wilson again showing the way. But. except for the closing seconds of the first half, they couldn't punch the ball into the end zone. Zeke Bratkowski, who came in when Starr was knocked groggy early in the second quarter, guided that 80 yard drive that culminated in Anderson's one-yard plunge for a touchdown. Anderson and Wilson, subbing for the injured Elijah Pitts and Jim Grabowski for the second week in a row , piled up 169 yards between them, 89 by Anderson and 80 by Wilson, whose 40-yard gallop set up Don Chandler's first field goal. Bratkowski, making his fourth appearance in relief of the injury-plagued Starr this year, completed nine of 18 passes for 103 yards with six of his throws going to Boyd Dowler. Jeter, Wood and Tommy Crutcher, who came in when Caffey left in the first quarter with an ankle injury, were outstanding on defense. Jeter's interception of a Brodie pass in the second quarter was his sixth this year—a personal high.

November 26: Green Bay Packers (8-2-1) 17, Chicago Bears (5-6) 13
(CHICAGO) - The Packers, who valiantly defended the National Football League's honor in the first Super Bowl game last January, became the first club to qualify for the playoffs this season when they defeated the Chicago Bears 17-13 and captured the Central Division title. Green Bay, seeking an unprecedented third consecutive NFL title, ran its record to 8-2-1 in snapping the Bears' three-game winning streak. It took an inspired defense and a brilliant 69-yard kickoff return by Travis Williams, however, to spring the Packers. Bart Starr, under fierce pressure from a Chicago blitz, completed 11 of 17 passes for 174 yards and threw a five-yard touchdown pass to Boyd Dowler in the first quarter following a Dave Robinson interception of a Jack Concannon pass. The Packers were held to only 71 yards rushing, far below the total of 117 compiled by Gale Sayers.

(MINNESOTA) - Green Bay's Tom Brown recovered a Minnesota fumble at the Vikings 28-yard line and the Packers turned it into a game winning 19-yard field goal by Don Chandler with eight seconds left to claim a 30-27 victory. The Packers owned a 27-17 lead going into the fourth quarter before the Vikings stormed back to tie. Minnesota then got the football with 3 1/2 minutes to play before Joe Kapp fumbled the snap from center with the Vikings trying to gain a first down at their own 15. The ball was kicked or batted into the Packer secondary where Brown fell on it. Green Bay ran five plays to move to the Minnesota 12 before Chandler kicked his winning field goal. The Vikings' output of 27 points, best against the Packer defense this season, was keyed by Dave Osbom's 155 yards on 21 rushes. Osborn broke the Vikings' team record of 148 yards set by Tommy Mason in 1963.

December 9: Los Angeles Rams (10-1-2) 27, Green Bay Packers (9-3-1) 24
(LOS ANGELES) - A blocked punt set up Los Angeles' winning touchdown in an electryfying 27-24 victory over the Green Bay Packers, keeping alive the Rams' hopes in the Coastal Division. The Packers apparently had this thriller wrapped up when reserve back Chuck Mercein ran four yards and Don Chandler's conversion put them ahead 24-20 with less than three minutes left in the game. A fumble by the Rams' Dick Bass was recovered by Jim Weatherwax on the Rams' 43 and paved the way for the final Packer touchdown. The Rams' defense held and on fourth down a punt attempt by Donny Anderson was blocked by Tony Guillory and his teammate, Claude Crabb, scooped up the ball and rambled 20 yards to the Green Bay five. With 54 seconds left, Roman Gabriel's first pass was incomplete. The next one was a direct hit in the end zone to Bernie Casey for the winning touchdown. The Rams, after trailing 10-7 at the half, were in front 17-10 in the third quarter when the complexion of the game changed quickly. Bruce Gossett kicked a 23-yard field goal but on the kickoff to the Packers, rookie halfback Travis Williams, who had run three such kicks back for touchdowns this season, returned the boot 104 yards with a sensational display of speed. Bart Starr completed 10 of 20 passes for 138 yards and a touchdown, with two interceptions. Gabriel connected on 20 of 36 for 227 and three touchdowns, with two interceptions. One of Starr's two interceptions came in the final series of plays as the clock ticked away. But the end came when his pass was picked off by Maxie Vaughan.

(GREEN BAY) - The Pittsburgh Steelers converted a pass interception and two fumble recoveries into scores against a less-than-inspired Green Bay and sent the defending champion Packers down to a 24-17 defeat. The Packers substituted liberally in the game, their final tune-up before Saturday's playoff for the Western Conference title. The Steelers, out to gain some satisfaction from an otherwise grim season, scored on the third play when Ken Kortas deflected a Bart Starr pass to Ben McGee. McGee rambled 21 yards for the touchdown. Chuck Hinton picked up a Zeke Bratkowski fumble and raced 27 yards for a touchdown and Mike Clark kicked a 27-yard field goal after another Packer fumble. The Steelers only untainted tally came when Earl Gros, a former Packer, cut inside tackle for 22 yards and a touchdown to cap a 65-yard march in the second period. Rookie Travis Williams was the Packers' chief offensive threat. Williams ran 29 yards with a pass from rookie Don Horn for a second period touchdown. He scored again in the final period on a 25-yard run. A 25-yard Don Chandler field goal was the only other Packer score. Horn and Bratkowski played most of the game at quarterback, as Starr went to the sidelines after the first period.

(MIAMI) - Having acquired a third consecutive NFL championship just two weeks earlier, the Packers embellished that record-tying parlay by winning the Super Bowl title for the second straight year. This time, they dispatched the AFL champion Raiders 33-14 in a game that drew the first $3-million gate in football history. Bart Starr again was chosen the game's most valuable player as he completed 13 of 24 passes for 202 yards and one touchdown and directed a Packers attack that was in control all the way after building up a 16-7 halftime lead. Don Chandler kicked four field goals (39, 20, 43 and 31 yards), and All-Pro cornerback Herb Adderley highlighted the Green Bay scoring with a 60-yard interception return of a Daryle Lamonica pass. After leading by only 3-0 at the quarter, the Packers padded their margin to 16-7 at halftime by way of three Chandler field goals and a 62-yard scoring pass from Starr to split end Boyd Dowler. They then left the Raiders behind with a 10-point third period, Donny Anderson scoring on a two-yard run and Chandler with his final field goal. The game marked the last for Vince Lombardi as Packers coach, ending nine years at Green Bay in which he won six Western Conference championships, five NFL titles and two Super Bowls, a record unprecedented in pro football history.

(GREEN BAY) - With thermometer shuddering at 13 below zero and a wind chill of minus 46, Bart Starr scores winning touchdown from 1-yard line with 13 seconds remaining, sealing record third straight championship for Packers and their fifth in seven years. Starr's touchdown, on third down with no timeouts remaining, climaxed a 68-yard drive in 12 plays, which had begun with 4:50 on the clock, in front of 50,861 partisans at now-legendary "Ice Bowl" game. As was the case in 1966, Packers grabbed early 14-0 advantage. But this time Cowboys came from behind to take the lead, forcing storybook finish by Green Bay to win contest later voted the greatest game in pro football history. Starr's touchdown passes of eight and 43 yards to Boyd Dowler built the first-quarter bulge, trimmed in the second quarter by George Andrie's seven-yard scoring return of a Starr fumble and a 21-yard Danny Villanueva field goal which also was set up by a Green Bay fumble. 1967 IN REVIEW: Despite numerous injuries and an average offense, the Green Bay Packers made NFL history, winning their third straight championship and second straight Super Bowl. The Packers made their history without Jim Taylor (who was traded to New Orleans) and Paul Hornung (who was selected by New Orleans in the expansion draft). FB Jim Grabowski (knee) and Elijah Pitts (torn Achilles tendon) could not last the season, forcing Vince Lombardi to start Chuck Mercein, Ben Wilson, Donny Anderson and Travis Williams at times. The Green Bay defense was tops in the NFL, allowing less than 100 yards passing per game. A sign that a new Dark Age was about to descend on Green Bay could be found in their two losses to end the regular season. No Packer team had done that since Scooter McLean's 1958 (1-10-1) squad. The Green Bay Packer Glory Days were winding down to a sudden conclusion, and the end was much closer than anyone thought.

August 4: Green Bay Packers (1-0) 27, College All-Stars 0
(CHICAGO) - Bart Starr had only a half interest in the 34th college All-Star game Friday night but that's all it took for the Green Bay passing master to cool off a fired-up All-Star defense and pace the professional champions to a 27-0 triumph. Starr, facing a strong collegiate rush, put the Packer running game in cold storage in the first half but chilled the All-Stars with 15 completions for 212 yards and two touchdowns before retiring to the sidelines at the halftime. The lanky Alabaman, who directed the Packers to a Super Bowl victory last season, used six different receivers to flood the collegiate defense, then ignored the long strike and picked apart the shallow secondary. Zeke Bratkowski relieved Starr for the second half, and though he completed eight of 11 passes the All-Stars were able to contain the Packers in the third quarter. But again the Packer defense yielded little to the collegiate attempts. Jim Grabowski, last year's prize rookie from Illinois who was on duty with the National Guard in Milwaukee., joined Green Bay shortly before the game and stamped himself as an appropriate heir to the fullback position where Jim Taylor once reigned. Grabowski sparked the Packers in the second half, gaining 53 yards in seven carries, including a 22-yard touchdown sprint through the middle of the All- Star defense in the final period. He was the game's leading rusher ,with 77 yards in nine carries.

August 12: Green Bay Packers (2-0) 31, Pittsburgh Steelers 20
(GREEN BAY) - Bonus back Donnie Anderson passed 67 yards for one touchdown and raced 50 to set up another as the Packers fought off Pittsburgh, 31-20, last night. Anderson squirted through the line and moved half the distance of the field to the Pittsburgh nine, leading the Packers' last touchdown on a six-yard toss from backup quarterback Zeke Bratkowski to tight end Allen Brown. The second-year halfback for Texas Tech, stepping into the spot vacated by the departed Paul Hornung, executed the option pass for a 67-yard touchdown strike to Carroll Dale on the fourth play of the second half.

August 18: Green Bay Packers (3-0) 18, Chicago Bears 0
(MILWAUKEE) - The Green Bay Packers, a team that can win without offensive punch, won without it Friday night, burying the Chicago Bears 18-0 on three field goals, a safety and a one-yard run. The victory, the third of the exhibition season for the world champions and the second against an NFL opponent, came despite a lackluster performance by the usually brilliant Bart Starr. The NFL's most valuable player not only missed with the first eight passes he threw, he fumbled three times and was dropped for losses six tunes - five times while attempting to pass. But if Starr, who might have been injured, was bad, the three Chicago quarterbacks, Rudy Bukich, Jack Concannon and Larry Rakestraw, were even worse as the Packer defense made a mockery of their attempts to build a passing game. The Packers held the Bears to a net of 10 yards passing while spilling Chicago quarterbacks eight times for a total loss of 84 yards. Two Chicago passes were intercepted. Jim Grabowski was the leading Packer runner with 25 yards gained in seven carries. Zeke Bratkowski took passing honors with a five for six night. Starr was six for 16. Brian Piccolo was the game's leading rusher with 57 yards on 11 carries.

August 28: Green Bay Packers (4-0) 20, Dallas Cowboys 3
(DALLAS) - It was only an exhibition but the Green Bay Packers looked as good as they did last January when they won the NFL championship as they whipped the Dallas Cowboys 20-3 Monday night. Dallas had everything back, Green Bay didn't have fullback Jim Taylor. But the Cowboys couldn't even score a touchdown Monday night. Not since 1965 had this occurred to the highpowered Dallas offense. The crowd of 78,087, the second largest in Dallas football history, couldn't understand why Zeke Bratkowski was only a backup quarterback. The big fellow from Georgia, a seven-year veteran, stepped in when the great Bart Starr had to leave in the first period because of a rib injury, and proceeded to pass and run Dallas dizzy. Bratkowski passed for a .611 percentage, he ran for 14 yards to set up a field goal, his passing sent the Packers winging on 73 and 69-yard touchdown drives and, after Herb Adderley had intercepted a pass, his running set up another field goal

September 2: Green Bay Packers (5-0) 30, Cleveland Browns (0-5) 21
(CLEVELAND) - The Packers, spurred by two long touchdown runs by Dave Robinson and Elijah Pitts, defeated the Cleveland Browns, 30-21, in the second game of an exhibition doubleheader last night. Robinson's 62-yard run came after he picked up a blocked field goal, and Pitts ran 85 yards on a punt return. A crowd of 84,236 saw the Packers, playing without the services of quarterback Bart Starr, come to life in the third quarter.

September 9: Green Bay Packers (6-0) 31, New York Giants 14
(GREEN BAY) - Bart Starr, rebounding from a rib injury, hit 15 of 21 passes as the unbeaten Packers battered New York 31-14 in the final tune-up. Starr, who had been sidelined two weeks with bruised ribs, marked his recovery by passing for two touchdowns and 235 yards before sitting out most of the second half. The NFL's MVP guided the Packers on scoring drives of 80 and 94 yards in the first half. Green Bay struck quickly for two more touchdowns and a 28-0 lead early in the third period after a 54-yard kickoff return by Donny Anderson and a pass interception by Tom Brown. The victory was the 13th straight for the Packers, including six in exhibition play and seven last season, when the NFL champions captured the first Super Bowl crown.
